While the Directorate of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics (Drees) recently highlighted the ten departments where the French have the highest pension, it also pointed the finger at the bad students. Indeed, to carry out this classification, the gross pension, the basic pensions, the complementary ones, but also the reversion pensions were cumulated to obtain the final figure. Do you live in one of the departments where retirees are paid the least?

In its annual study on the standard of living of retirees in France, the DREES has drawn up its table of the departments where retirees receive the highest pension up to those where they are less well paid. The results highlighted disparities across France and in particular more or less favorable figures depending on the departments. In the event that retirees receive less money than in other regions, the pension amounts are close to 1200 euros gross, i.e. the equivalent of the minimum pension promised by the government.

Among the good students, the Drees, for its part, listed the departments where the French obtained the best pensions. A large number of Ile-de-France departments have thus been selected, in particular Paris, which sees its average pension reach 2,046 euros gross. Hauts-de-Seine, Yvelines and Essonne also stand out at the heart of all the other regions. Find out, in our slideshow, if you are on the list of bad students and departments where retirees receive lower pensions.
