This April 12, 2023, the artist Jean-Louis Aubert, rock artist of the Telephone group, celebrates his 68th birthday. A birthday he could have never celebrated. Indeed, in 2020, the musician underwent a major heart operation following a genetic heart defect.

“I could have continued to ignore this little genetic anomaly and find myself on one knee or worse,” he told our colleagues from BFMTV in December 2020 and added: “You can fall at any time. , like Joe Strummer, like Elvis Presley. Once I knew it… I couldn’t live with that Sword of Damocles (…) Maybe my life was saved. Surely. (…) J ‘I went there with a gun, saying to myself: ‘Come on, it’s fine…’ It was more intrusive than I thought. And it’s nice to see you, but serious!”, he explained.

Following his operation, Jean-Louis Aubert had informed his fans on his social networks that he was doing well, reassuring them who have continued to support him. “Finding yourself in a few hours on the wire of life to breathe between two walls of pain, it may seem like a hassle. But I quickly understood that it was a great chance”, he had written and to continue: “I am recovering at a hallucinating speed (it seems) and I have very good morale (accompanied by your tender thoughts)”.

Touched by all the messages of support, the artist then shared a nice message to his fans. “I have my arms full of little gifts for you but my shoulder pulls me a little (it seems that it often does that when you nail the frogs)” he said on Facebook and added: “I also have dreams that keep me awake so much I want to share them when the uncertain autumn comes (yes! I’m still dreaming). See you soon then, let’s say… Sunday lunchtime?… For a first little gift. Thank you for caring of me as, I hope, you take care of yourself”.
