Singer-songwriter Francis Degrandpré, who performed at the LASSO country music festival last week, is nominated in six categories at the Gala Country. The award ceremony will take place at Club Soda on October 26.
Francis Degrandpré, who released his first album Soir de quai in May 2022, is nominated in the categories Country-Contemporary Album, Songwriter, Song of the Year, Discovery of the Year, Male Performer and Show of the Year .
The artist from Berthierville, who is also part of the Grande Ourse collective, will release a second album next spring. By the end of the month, he will embark on a theatrical tour that will take him to some thirty cities in Quebec.
With his accomplices from Grande Ourse (Phil G Smith, Vince Lemire, Guillaume Lafond, Fred Dionne, Brittany Kennell and Andie Therio), he will release an album of original compositions on September 8.
