(Vancouver) American Megan Khang is the leader after two rounds at the CPKC Women’s Open.

She was tied for 13th after the first round, and turned in 66 (-6 minus) on Friday to move into first at -7 minus.

In the lead after one round, the Japanese Yuka Saso had not yet started when Kang finished her day.

Canada’s Brooke Henderson finished with a score of 68 (minus -4), two strokes under par after two rounds.

An air quality advisory for Metro Vancouver was issued in the morning, due to smoke from ongoing wildfires in British Columbia.

Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, host of the tournament, was from the area affected by the notice, the tournament host, but its oceanfront course remained rather far from the smoke.
