(TORONTO) The Toronto Raptors announced on Tuesday the appointment of Darko Rajakovic as head coach of the NBA roster.
Rajakovic, a 44-year-old Serb, becomes the 10th head coach in the organization’s history.
He succeeds Nick Nurse, who was fired on April 21 after 10 years with the organization, including five as head coach.
Rajakovic has held coaching positions at various levels since 1996 and last year was an assistant to head coach Taylor Jenkins with the Memphis Grizzlies.
