(Los Angeles) Taylor Swift’s Eras tour becomes the first in music history to cross the billion-dollar mark in global revenue, according to Pollstar’s 2023 end-of-year rankings.

Not only was Swift’s iconic Eras Tour the number one tour worldwide and in North America, but it also grossed a record US$1.04 billion, with 4.35 million tickets sold over 60 dates , according to the publication specializing in concerts.

Pollstar’s data was collected from November 17, 2022 to November 15, 2023. Representatives for the publication did not immediately say whether they had adjusted data from past tours to account for inflation.

Pollstar also calculated that Taylor Swift generated around 200 million in merchandise sales and that her hit film adaptation of the tour would have grossed around 250 million at the box office, making it the highest-grossing concert film all time.

Pollstar also predicts a tremendous 2024 for Swift, according to its estimates. The magazine predicts that the Eras tour will also reach 1 billion next year, meaning the singer is expected to rake in more than 2 billion over the duration of the tour.

Worldwide, Swift’s tour comes first ahead of those of BeyoncĂ©, Bruce Springsteen

In North America, the tour revenue chart is roughly similar: Swift, followed by Beyoncé, Morgan Wallen, Drake, P! nk, Bruce Springsteen

Earlier this week, Swift was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year. Last month, Apple Music named her artist of the year. Spotify also revealed that she is the most streamed artist of 2023 worldwide, garnering more than 26.1 billion streams since January 1 and breaking Bad Bunny’s three-year record.
