There are no more small savings. Faced with inflation, many French people have reviewed their way of consuming, buying less meat or fresh vegetables, cutting back on small sweet pleasures or stopping national brands. Retail professionals have been observing these new habits for several months now and there is another one that interests them, the change of sign.

Those who have the choice between different supermarkets have the luxury of changing dairies if the prices no longer suit them. Some supermarkets are known to be cheaper than others, but not necessarily on all products. Shopping in three different places is not necessarily the best solution, it is necessary to make the right choice to reduce the bill at the checkout.

Every month, the LSA magazine publishes a price index for the drives of the different brands. As a reminder, the drive is a service allowing the consumer to withdraw an order without leaving his car. You order online – or on the supermarket app – you choose a pick-up slot, then you go there at the appointed time.

According to the specialized site, since the second half of 2022, the major brands have been divided into four different groups.
