In any case, this is the opinion of the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, who issued an order to make the mask compulsory in public transport from Monday July 11. A decision that other mayors could take inspiration from by issuing an order to reinstate the compulsory wearing of masks also in their city’s transport. Indeed, other cities and departments are subject to high incidence rates and could, either by order of the town hall or by decision of the government, be forced to again impose the wearing of the mask.
