Do you like to eat ice cream for dessert or for a snack in the summer? Be careful, you may well have purchased batches of Adélie Colosse ice cream, granola style, which have been the subject of a voluntary product recall from the brand, since Tuesday July 12, 2022. According to Rappel Conso, the platform governmental dedicated to recalls, there would be in this product, a potential presence of pieces of wood and splinters in the ice, coming from the sticks. A presence likely to pose a risk to the health of consumers who could swallow it.

In addition, consideration should also be given to the risk of injury or adverse effects from ingesting these products. These batches of granola ice cream are therefore unfit for consumption. So if you have Adélie colossal granola-style ice creams of 252 g – 320 ml of 4 sticks in your fridge, Rappel Conso advises you not to consume them. This ice cream, marketed throughout France by Intermarché between 22/02/2022 to 12/07/2022, can be reimbursed if it is returned to the store. Health authorities also recommend destroying the product.
