A boost that could make the difference under the tree. While inflation does not seem to be running out of steam, the French will have to face new expenses for the end of year celebrations. Purchasing power is not going up and that is why any help is good to take. Fortunately, companies can still pay the Macron bonus until December 31, 2022 and many French people could thus receive it before the end of the year.

So far, no less than 730,000 people have already been able to take advantage of this value-sharing bonus. Introduced in December 2018, it had been renewed this year and even upgraded. On average, the beneficiaries were able to receive a bonus of 740 euros. But the maximum amount is 3,000 euros for all employees in the private sector. For the public sector, it is also possible to obtain it provided that the company in question employs employees under private law.

An employee can even expect to receive a bonus of up to 6,000 euros. However, this requires specific conditions to be met, as reported by our colleagues from Magazine Economie.
