(Toronto) The Raptors’ 2023-24 season will begin Oct. 25 in Toronto against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

This will be the Raptors’ 29th season in the NBA.

Former coach Nick Nurse will return Oct. 28 at the helm of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Darko Rajakovic’s group will welcome former Raptor Fred VanVleet and the Houston Rockets on February 9.

The Raptors will visit Montreal’s Luguentz Dort and the Thunder on Feb. 4 in Oklahoma City. The Thunder will play in Queen City on March 22.

On November 22 and February 26, the Raptors will play in Indiana against the Pacers, including Montreal’s Bennedict Mathurin.

The Raptors will host the Pacers on February 14 and April 9.

On November 8, the Toronto squad will face the Mavericks in Dallas, featuring Olivier-Maxence Prosper of Rosemère.

The Mavericks will play at Scotiabank Arena on February 28.

On December 20, the Toronto club will welcome the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets, including Ontarian Jamal Murray.

On February 12, the spotlight will turn to first overall pick Victor Wenbanyama on a visit from the San Antonio Spurs.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will be in town on April 2.

The Raptors will make two five-city trips: January 3-12, and January 28-February 7.

The Raptors’ regular season will end with three straight away games: in Brooklyn on April 10, followed by a two-game stint in Miami on April 12-14.

The team media day will take place on October 2.

Training camp will be held October 3-7 in Burnaby, BC.

The club’s first of four preseason games will be held on October 8 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver against Sacramento.

Toronto went 41-41 last season. In the first phase of the qualifying tournament, the club was beaten at home to the Chicago Bulls, 109-105.

The Raptors missed the playoffs for the second time in three years.

In 2022, they were knocked out in the first round by the Philadelphia 76ers.

The NBA regular season will begin on October 24, with Lakers-Nuggets and Suns-Warriors games.

On October 25, besides Minnesota-Toronto, there will also be Washington-Indiana, OKC-Chicago and Dallas-San Antonio.

The qualifying tournament will take place from April 16-19.

The playoffs will start the next day. Game 1 of the NBA Finals will be played on June 6.
