The pandemic is behind us and more and more new facilities are opening their doors in Montreal, offering new experiences. Many have offers suitable for business groups. Here are four.

Open since the end of May, the Port of Montreal Tower, 65 m high, offers a view of the city and its glass cage even allows for a 360-degree panorama. This new tourist attraction located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River also offers augmented reality capsules to discover historic places and moments in Montreal. For groups, it is possible to rent the multifunctional foyer located on the ground floor, which can accommodate 200 people in a cocktail format. The observatory, with its view of the city, can also accommodate 200 people in a cocktail setting. Have a small group? The Sylvie-Vachon meeting room can accommodate 25 people in a cocktail format and 12 in a round table format.

After Toronto, Montreal has had its Museum of Illusions since June. Located in Old Montreal, it presents rooms with changing perspectives and different types of installations. One of the main attractions is the vortex tunnel which is difficult to cross while keeping your balance. In a fun atmosphere, visitors are invited to touch the works, experiment with them and immortalize the moment in photos. The space is customizable and can be rented to hold different events, such as parties, training, networking and team building activities. The Museum also offers a variety of interactive activities designed to encourage collaboration, communication and creativity, but also to have a good time with colleagues.

The Crystal, closed at the start of the pandemic, was reopened in May under the international Warwick brand. Located on the corner of Boulevard René-Lévesque and Rue de la Montagne, the luxury hotel has 131 rooms, many of which have a kitchenette. The Crystal also has an indoor pool, fitness center, underground parking, spa and nine event spaces, from the intimate lounge to the ballroom. Each space has floor-to-ceiling windows to provide maximum natural light and views of the city. The Bishop Lounge, with its heated terrace, is ideal for welcoming guests during breaks and small receptions. The hotel also hosts the Thai restaurant Siam Centre-ville.

The Montreal History Center became the Center for Montreal Memories and was located at the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard. There are exhibitions, a boutique-café and some rental spaces. The cabaret, a performance hall with audiovisual equipment, can accommodate up to 110 people. The belvedere, with its abundant windows and its view of the new Tranquille esplanade, makes it possible to organize receptions for up to 60 people. To organize small meetings of up to 35 people, the Montreal Memories Center offers two rooms, one of which has access to a fully equipped kitchenette. The Le Central food court is also accessible from the ground floor of this new location.
