In the face of inflation, every detail counts. That’s the mantra of 60 million consumers in the latest issue of its magazine, entitled “Find purchasing power, winning solutions”.

Among its many tips for strengthening the purchasing power of households, the association recalls the need to get rid of superfluous insurance, guarantees and coverage that weigh down their budget.

“In 2021, the French paid an average of 372 euros to insure their house, 216 euros for an apartment, 478 euros to insure their vehicle to third parties and 781 all risks, according to the comparator Lesfurets.com. Their complementary health cost them 880 euros, according to Lelynx.fr”, writes the magazine.

As of January 1, 2023, the termination of contracts will be simplified. The period for terminating the insurance taken out when purchasing goods or services will be reduced from 14 to 30 days. “From July 1, 2023, new contracts will be terminable at any time, after one year of detention: legal protection contracts, life accident guarantee and insurance dedicated to pets”, specifies the magazine.
