Chevrolet Canada announced last week that it has begun shipping the first units of its electric Blazer. A highly anticipated model that will compete with the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Tesla Model Y, it has big ambitions.

The bow-tie brand has thereby confirmed the autonomy of some of its versions – LT, RS and SS in hierarchical order – as well as certain final prices. The delivery rate begins this summer with the all-wheel-drive RS livery ($73,298) claiming a range of 449 km. This will be followed in the fall by the RWD RS trim (at the same price), which increases its range to 515 km, as well as a less expensive version, the 2LT AWD ($63,298), which will be able to travel 449 km.

Chevrolet has also announced that it has abandoned the 1LT livery, but did not specify when the more affordable 2LT front-drive variant will arrive or the final price of this product, which will be the entry point to the range. This promises a still competitive range of 471 km. On the other hand, the high-performance 557 hp SS version will arrive in the spring, but it is not yet known how many kilometers it will be able to officially cover.

There are therefore still several gray areas in the portrait of this entirely new vehicle based on the new Ultium battery architecture.
