On Thursday April 27, 2023, during its General Assembly, La Française des jeux announced the launch of a new European lottery in France, in the same spirit as EuroMillions: EuroDreams. This new lotto would offer similar winnings to Keno. Indeed, during the general assembly of the FDJ, the director general, Stéphane Pallez, declared that the gains would be distributed in the form of annuities for the ranks of the jackpots, reports the site TirageGagant. This pension could be spread over 10 to 20 years.

In the four corners of the world, mechanical lotteries are enjoying growing success. In Canada, the “Grande Vie” lottery announces, for example, a jackpot of $1,000 per day for life at rank n°1. In France, game lovers already know that there is Keno. However, since a few months, the mention “Gain à vie” of Keno has been removed. A way to prepare for the arrival of EuroDreams?

Or ? The future EuroDreams lottery will be available in the 15 countries already participating in EuroMillions. However, it is not impossible that other countries are included on the model of the Eurojackpot which also includes other countries of the European Union.

When ? The launch of EuroDreams is scheduled for November 2023. However, the exact date is not yet known.

How much ? According to a document published by the ANJ last July, which has not been confirmed since, the price of a EuroDreams ticket would amount to 2.50 euros per simple combination checked, i.e. the same price as a EuroMillions grid.
