The patriarch of a large blended family. Dany Boon is a leading face of French cinema who is very popular with the public. Admired by millions of fans throughout his career, he has also shared the lives of several women and experienced the joys of fatherhood.
In a relationship with actress Sophie Hermelin, actor Dany Boon became a father for the first time with the birth of his son Mehdi on August 25, 1997. After their separation, he dated actress Judith Godrèche, who gave him a second son, Noé, born September 4, 1999. And it is with his ex-wife Yaël Harris that he welcomes his three youngest children: Eytan, born June 23, 2005, Elia, born December 20, 2006, and his only daughter Sarah, born February 27, 2010.

During his passage this Monday April 10 in Daily on TMC, the famous comedian came to present his film Life for real in which he plays with Charlotte Gainsbourg and his friend Kad Merad. “Dany, when your character finds himself on the plane that brings him from Mexico to Paris, he tells his life story to a little girl who travels alone to the left of him. Who is that?” Asked the host to his guest. “It’s my daughter. It’s Sarah, it’s my daughter!” Admitted the director to his interlocutor. “She’s an actress? She’s a little boosted, I have the impression, right?” Reacted the presenter of the talk show with humor.

The opportunity for the ex-husband of Yaël Boon to return to the vocation of the teenager. “What’s very funny is that since she was 3-4 years old, she’s been like, ‘Dad, when am I doing your films? I want to do your films!’ and I said to him: ‘Wait, do theater with the school, we’ll see'”, he recalled. Until the day he finally tells her that she has landed a small role in his feature film.
“There I call her, I say to her: ‘That’s it, dad wrote a scene for you, you’re going to be in the film a bit…’ She said to me: ‘When is that?’ I give her the date of the shoot, she goes: ‘I can’t, I’ve climbed!'”. What arouse the hilarity of the public on the set of Daily. “It took me an hour to convince her. I went so far as to blackmail her into accepting”, laughs the father of the family, revealing that his daughter “was a little afraid to do it, but she is great in the movie”.
Usually discreet about his siblings, the famous comedian and great friend of Line Renaud rarely exposes his children, except on special occasions. Like this day when Dany Boon was decorated Knight of the Legion of Honor, in the presence of his family, by President Nicolas Sarkozy. Or during the matches of the French football team where the actor is often accompanied by his sons.
Faced with such media exposure, the celebrity of Dany Boon has brought some trouble to those close to him. And, in particular, in 2008, after the colossal success of his film Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis. “My son, who is 23 today (Noé, editor’s note), we had to change schools three times in the year following the release of Ch’tis”, he confided on Thursday 15 September 2022 on France Inter by detailing. “Because he was pissed off.” Born of his relationship with Judith Godrèche, the actor’s son “was attacked … sometimes even by the teachers. It was complicated”. And, to conclude. “He went back to the high school where he was before”.
If the troubles are now behind them, the companion of Laurence Arné is a caring father for his children. The latter, more or less present on social networks, are the pride of the actor. His second son Noé thrives in music between France and the United States while his third son Eytan is a young influencer. And, the mother of her two youngest is sharing snaps with them on Instagram.
