This is now the case for Arabi brand chicken matches. Indeed, the 230g tray was recalled in store following the detection of Listeria monocytogenes, the agent responsible for listeriosis contamination.
The products concerned are those from batch L2207005 with GTIN 3760238430433 and a use-by date between 08/18/2022 and 08/31/2022.
The recalled products were marketed from August 2 to 9, 2022 in supermarkets of various brands throughout France.

People who own any of the potentially contaminated products should not consume it and can return it to the point of sale where they purchased it for a refund.
The Conso Recall website specifies that people who have consumed the product concerned by this recall procedure must be vigilant about potential symptoms. If they have a fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and aches, they are invited to consult their doctor and report this consumption.
In addition, it is specified that “serious forms with neurological complications and maternal or fetal damage in pregnant women can also sometimes occur. Pregnant women as well as immunocompromised people and the elderly must be particularly attentive to these symptoms. Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and whose incubation period can be up to eight weeks.
