(Calgary) Nickelback sealed its place in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame with a plaque presentation ceremony in Calgary.

On Sunday, band members Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake and Daniel Adair placed the plaque bearing Nickelback’s name at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Center.

The private ceremony for media and guests was to be followed by a live interview available to members of the public for a fee.

Nickelback was inducted into the Hall of Fame during the Juno Awards broadcast earlier this year.

The band recently launched the North American leg of their Get Rollin’ Tour, having released their tenth studio album last November.

The National Music Center claims Nickelback is one of the best-selling bands of all time, with more than 12 consecutive sold-out world tours. The center also houses an exhibit celebrating the rock band’s induction.
