(Paris) Canadian Olympic champion defender Ashley Lawrence is leaving Paris Saint-Germain, where she was at the end of her contract, the capital club announced on Wednesday.

Arrived at PSG in January 2017 from the Canadian team of Vaughan Azzurri, the side occupied the right lane, evolving behind the French Kadidiatou Diani.

In six and a half seasons in D1 with PSG, the 27-year-old Canadian scored six goals and was French champion in 2021. The same year, Lawrence (113 caps, 8 goals) won Olympic gold with the Canada at the Tokyo Olympics.

“The best for you, much love”, commented on Instagram the N.9 Marie-Antoinette Katoto, who had a white season at PSG, seriously injured in the knee last summer.
