The predicted rainy-stormy degradation should arrive in the West of France this evening. It will then gradually rise along the western side of France overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. Finally, during the days of Thursday and Friday, the rainy front should arrive in the East of France, and become more violent.
Very heavy rains are indeed expected, and even a risk of hail in a department. However, the forecasts exclude for the moment a risk of too strong bad weather or floods.
These rainy episodes are very good news for nature. However, their positive impact will be very limited given that their stormy nature will make them very irregular. Thus, a yellow storm alert will come into force from 6 p.m. in New Aquitaine, in the Center-Val de Loire, as well as in Ile-de-France, according to Météo France.
