Happy Birthday Les 12 coups de midi! This summer, Jean-Luc Reichmann is celebrating the 12th anniversary of his show with a new Combat des maîtres on TF1. For the occasion, viewers will see the essential champions of the game compete since its creation in 2010.

So as not to miss this event, the channel is launching the festivities with the Masters of the 12 Coups de Midi, this Sunday June 26 from 11:40 a.m. Orchestrated by its host Jean-Luc Reichmann, the anniversary edition takes place over two weeks with the daily arrival of four former midday masters. Every day, they will answer general knowledge questions, round after round, to earn their qualification during these selection phases.

For an exceptional evening, an exceptional challenge! The principle for each of the former champions of the 12 noon shots: try to win one of the 7 places for the two Saturday evening bonuses (July 2 and 9, 2022) in order to be elected the greatest master in the history of the game. “For the first time, there is a real challenge over time, over a large number of midday masters,” said Jean-Louis Blot, boss of the production company Endemol France, during a conference of press which Planet attended on June 15 at the premises of TF1.

Two weeks full of surprises and twists during which the two winners of each bonus will face each other in a final duel, on July 9, and compete for the coveted title. A special birthday that delighted the 61-year-old comedian. “I can never thank TF1 enough. I have total freedom. They don’t bother me. More than a contract, it’s a moral pact that I have with TF1”, assures the hero of Léo Mattei. “I am very happy to be here. I want to surprise again”.

Who will be the greatest master in the history of 12 noon shots? Since its first broadcast on TF1 in 2010, the show has seen a succession of 574 midday masters among more than 12,000 candidates. For this big family reunion broadcast for two weeks, 56 emblematic champions were there to blow out the 12 candles of the game with Jean-Luc Reichmann.

Among the candidates selected for Le Combat des maîtres, we will find Estelle who is none other than the first mistress in the history of the game. Interviewed by Télé Magazine, she confided in the filming event. “The atmosphere was great. Meeting up with the other great champions is like a happy summer camp. And then, Jean-Luc is always very benevolent with his Midday Masters”, recalls the one who had unfortunately not won only 100 euros before being eliminated on the next issue.

Twelve years and a hundred masters later, records have been linked and several candidates have shone with their general knowledge in Les 12 coups de midi, such as Xavier, Valentin, Timothée, Éric or Bruno Hourcade, the champion and only millionaire of the game. It is also an opportunity to review their best moments of their journey “through magnetos, to immerse themselves in 12 years of emotion, laughter, significant events of the 12 strokes”, specifies Jean-Louis Blot . But, a birthday wouldn’t be a big party without the appearance of a few guests…

To accompany the candidates who have won their place for the Combat des maîtres bonus, TF1 has invited four celebrities and will be the team leaders during the two prime time evenings. On Saturday July 2, comedian Jeff Panacloc and actor Olivier Baroux will launch the hostilities, as indicated in the press release from the channel.

After the second week of the Masters which will begin on Sunday July 3, the second issue will be broadcast on July 9 on TF1. Around the 7 new qualified for the final phase, the singer Keen’v and the juror of The VoiceAmel Bent (already invited during the last Masters fight in 2021) will be the team captains. Two evenings of celebration with the public and viewers for a memorable anniversary!
