This is the thriller event of the beginning of the year. This Thursday, January 11, 2024, Rivière-Perdue is broadcast at 9:10 p.m. on TF1. A fiction adapted from the Spanish series entitled La Caza – Monteperdido, written by Agustin Martinez and Luis Moya.

For its French version, we owe the production of the Rivière-Perdue series to Jean-Christophe Delpias. He was supported on the script by Eugénie Dard, Sylvain Caron and Elsa Vasseur who wrote the six episodes of the mini-series, co-produced by the channel with Terence Films and Gétévé Productions. Here’s what we know about the plot of this crime thriller.

“On a winding road in the Pyrenees, a spectacular car accident causes a miracle: the reappearance of Anna, a teenager who disappeared 5 years ago. Captain Alix Berg and Commander Balthus are deployed alongside Victor Ferrer, the leader from the local gendarmerie, to find Lucie as quickly as possible, a young girl kidnapped at the same time as Anna and who has not reappeared”, we can read in the summary revealed by the channel.

“But faced with this emergency, Anna’s behavior intrigues the investigators, against all expectations, she does not help them… Police operations are increasing to understand what is happening in Rivière-Perdue.” A race against time mixing suspense and twists and turns that should keep fans of the detective genre in suspense over the course of six episodes.

In this new fiction, filmed in the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales during the summer of 2023, we find several key stars of the small screen, such as Barbara Cabrita (Grilled Chickens), Nicolas Gob (The Art of Crime), Odile Vuillemin (Profiling) or even Jean-Michel Tinivelli (Alice Nevers).
