(Ottawa) The 2025 edition of the World Junior Hockey Championship will take place in Ottawa from December 26, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
This will be the 19th edition of the tournament on Canadian soil and the second in Ottawa.
The games will be played at the Canadian Tire Centre, home of the Senators, and at TD Place, home of the 67’s in the Ontario Hockey League.
The tournament was last held in Ottawa in 2009, when Canada won gold for the fifth straight time.
More than 450,000 people had attended the tournament matches by then.
The 2024 edition of the World Junior Hockey Championship will be presented in Gothenburg, Sweden.
