This Tuesday, July 18, 2023, the heat remains relevant and it is a summer day that promises to be over a large part of the country. In the morning, the sky is clear in the whole western part of the territory. Gray weather is expected in the regions of the Grand-Est, passing through Burgundy-Franche-Comté and then Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, reports La Chaine Météo. A few locally thundery showers are expected in these same regions before fading quickly. Temperatures are between 21 and 36°C from north to south.

At the end of the morning, the clouds will cover most of France. Nice, Ajaccio, Marseille, Tarbes, Toulouse or even Perpignan will be the only areas spared. The sun then made its big comeback over the whole country throughout the day, announcing a very hot afternoon and a suffocating day, with a few thunderstorms at the start and end of the evening.

As we mentioned earlier, temperatures will reach 36°C. But, according to forecasts, it will feel like 39°C. This is the case for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Corsica regions, where good weather will continue to dominate despite a light veil of cloud. Everywhere else, the mercury is on average around 30°C. Only the northwest coast, and in particular Brittany, will see maximum temperatures around 22°C. In addition, stormy showers will fall on the Territoire-de-Belfort, as far as Auxerre.
