Fans of three hit HBO series will have to be patient: due to recent strikes in Hollywood, the (highly anticipated) new seasons of The Last of Us, Euphoria and The White Lotus won’t air until 2025.

This was confirmed by the video on demand service Max this weekend, by broadcasting a trailer for series coming in 2024 and 2025.

Production on the second season of The Last of Us and the third season of The White Lotus are expected to begin in early 2024.

As for the new season of Euphoria, its postponement to 2025 is also caused by the busy schedule of its creator, Sam Levinson, and actress Zendaya. The death last July of actor Angus Cloud, who played the character Fezco in Euphoria, probably also complicated things.
