Appeared in 2003, the Continental GT celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. In the meantime, this imposing coupe has undergone a redesign (2017) that neophytes are struggling to detect. Symbol of the revival of the brand, the Continental GT is the first Bentley to have all-wheel drive and the 12-cylinder W engine! Two attributes that it still offers and which, in the eyes of many buyers, are enough to set this Bentley apart from its competitors. The Continental GT is neither as fast nor as sporty as the DB12. Compared to the latter, however, its main advantages are more welcoming rear seats (for children), a more practical trunk and a quieter ride.

Fans of the prancing horse brand will tell you: the Roma is the worthy heir to the 1962 250 GT Lusso. A nice wink considering that the latter is one of Pininfarina’s finest achievements. Bloodier than the DB12, the Roma enjoys quicker, more direct steering, and its engine – a V8 – responds more readily to throttle inputs, aided by a dual-clutch automatic transmission. On the other hand, the beautiful Italian does not have a touch of road as muffled as that of its English rival. Nor such a luxuriously appointed cabin.
