Wednesday, June 21 will mark the arrival of summer. The whole country lives to the rhythm of a summer and stable weather. In the northern half of the country, the weather conditions of the last few days will not change much. In its latest bulletin, Météo France announces the end of the gray weather near the Channel while the sun will dominate, associated with summer temperatures.

In addition, precipitation will accompany the cumulus clouds already present this morning in certain areas. From the Ardennes to Alsace and on the Jura, these showers will get worse as the day progresses. The southwestern quarter of the country will see the weather improve and become calmer throughout the day.

Consequently, Météo France has placed around twenty departments on yellow storm vigilance on the sidelines of the forecast bad weather. What are they ? Will thunderstorms be important to you? Check it out in our slideshow below.

This week is once again marked by numerous vigilance regarding thunderstorms affecting almost all of France. The Météo France site notes that “the risk of thunderstorms will be very strong at certain times of the day”.

“A thunderclap cannot be ruled out at times. In the South-East, the risk of thunderstorms remains. On the relief, the sky is clouding over and light to moderate stormy showers are triggered, mainly in Auvergne -Rhône-Alpes and the Southern Alps”, continue the forecasts of the site.

The temperatures forecast for this Wednesday, June 7th are those of a hot and sunny week. However, some departments will see their temperature drop, like the Channel with only 16°C expected this afternoon. It will be 23°C in Lille while Biarritz will be animated by no less than 30°C. The Promenade des Anglais in Nice will see clouds associated with its 23°C.
