Inimitable comedians and living legends of humor, Steve Martin and Martin Short will be back in Montreal this fall with their show You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!
The two stars of the hit series Only Murders in the Building will be back on stage at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier on Thursday, November 30, just over five years after their last sold-out appearance.
You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today! is intended to be “subversive, with also a lot of joyful self-mockery from two masters of comedy”, according to the press release released on Tuesday by evenko and Just For Laughs. Hollywood and the temperamental nature of celebrity are also on the menu for the duo, whose chemistry was built over a friendship that began when they first met in 1986 on the set of the feature film Three Amigos. Steve Martin and Martin Short started performing together in 2015 when they launched A Very Stupid Conversation.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, April 21. Bluegrass band The Steep Canyon Rangers and jazz pianist Jeff Babko will open for Martin and Short.
