(Montreal) The 2003 edition of the popular reality show Star Académie will come together on stage for two evenings next January for a reunion with the public entitled And it’s not over.

Academicians Wilfred LeBouthillier, Marie-Élaine Thibert, Marie-Mai, Annie Villeneuve, François Babin, Jean-François Bastien, Martin Rouette, Maritza Bossé-Pelchat, Suzie Villeneuve, Émily Bégin, Dave Bourgeois, Élyse Robineault and Pascal Nguyen Deschênes will walk the stages of the Bell Center on Friday, January 12, 2024 and those of the Videotron Center a week later, on January 19.

The artists will perform songs from the album from this edition, which has sold more than 500,000 copies.

“All of Quebec still remembers the tidal wave that the arrival of academicians created within Quebec culture, while they went from unknowns to superstars in just a few weeks,” underlines in a press release Entourage, the production company which organizes this reunion.

“Now, 20 years later and for the very first time since 2003, the academicians from this first season find themselves on stage with great joy to offer a festive, colorful and nostalgic show. »

After the series was broadcast on TVA, the academicians toured more than 45 performances, including one in France and 14 at the Bell Center.

The album from the first season of the series was also crowned album of the year at the ADISQ gala, while And it’s not finished won the title of popular song of the year.

Tickets for shows at the Bell Center and the Videotron Center will go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
