Disappointment in sight for Bollywood fans who used Spotify to listen to the soundtrack of their favorite movie.
Hundreds of songs from India’s biggest films have suddenly disappeared from the online listening platform, BBC News reported on Tuesday.
The cause: Spotify did not find a new agreement with the owners of the titles.
On social networks, fans of Bollywood cinema protested against the withdrawal of their favorite songs, canceling their subscription to the platform.
Spotify said it was trying in “good faith” to find a “creative solution” with Zee Music – one of India’s biggest entertainment companies.
