Leon Draisaitl hit the 50-goal mark with his hat trick and the Edmonton Oilers outscored the Anaheim Ducks 6-0 on Saturday night.

Jack Campbell blocked 36 shots for a first shutout this season and the Oilers confirmed their place in the playoffs.

Zach Hyman, Darnell Nurse and Connor McDavid also threaded the needle for the Edmonton squad, which went 13-2-1 in its last 16 outings.

The Oilers are coming off two straight shutouts after being able to get just one this season. Stuart Skinner pitched in front of the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday.

The Ducks for their part suffered a seventh loss in a row, a high for them this season.

Tommy Novak scored one goal and added three assists as the Nashville Predators beat the St. Louis Blues 6-1 on Saturday.
