Thanked by the Rismouki Oceanic on Monday after 12 years with the organization, Serge Beausoleil says he welcomes this decision “with humility and gratitude”.
The 56-year-old manager spoke about his dismissal as general manager and head coach of the Oceanic on Tuesday in a long message posted on his Facebook page.
“The last twelve years spent in Rimouski are forever marked in my memory,” writes Beausoleil. I have a boundless attachment to this city, this region, this bottom of the river which is so welcoming, so passionate. Like our supporters, as demanding as they are loving. I will forever carry them in my heart. »

In his letter, the man who ranks 10th in QMJHL history for the number of victories in the season (426) thanks a whole group of people, including the team of scouts and educational services, the administrative and medical team, pensions, the media, Maurice Tanguay and the players.
