After Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary, Tyler Toffoli is heading to New Jersey.

The Calgary Flames announced they traded the 31-year-old forward to the Devils for Yegor Sharangovich and a third-round pick in the 2023 draft on Tuesday night.

Toffoli is entering the final year of his four-year, $17 million contract. The former Canadian has just had his best career offensive season with 73 points, including 34 goals, in 82 games.

Sharangovich will become a restricted free agent on July 1. The 25-year-old forward, a former 2018 fifth-round pick, just completed his third NHL season with 30 points in 75 games.
