The Canadiens have agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way deal with center Lias Andersson.

The information was reported by various informants on Sunday afternoon. The deal will net Andersson $775,000 if he plays in the NHL and $450,000 if he plays in the American League.

The 24-year-old forward has spent the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Kings organization. He played all of last season in the American League, with the Ontario Reign.

Former first-round pick (7th overall) of Rangers in 2017, the Swede had been an unrestricted free agent since Saturday.

Andersson has 17 points in 110 career NHL games.
