(San Francisco) The 2025 edition of the NBA All-Star Game, which brings together the best players for a gala match, will take place in San Francisco, in the home of Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors, the Northern League announced -American basketball Monday.
This 74th meeting will take place on February 16, 2025, said NBA leader Adam Silver.
Before that, the weekend will notably be animated by a match between NBA beginners and players playing their second year in the league.
This season, the All-Star Game will take place on February 18, 2024 in Indianapolis, the city that first hosted the event in 1985.
The match between the best players will return to the traditional opposition between representatives of the Western Conference and the Eastern Conference, after several years of experimenting with other schemes in an attempt to restore prestige and interest to a meeting often criticized for lack of commitment, particularly in defense, from the players who take part.
