The journalist Laurence Ferrari is no longer a heart to take. Since 2009, the former flagship presenter of the JT of TF1 is married to the violinist Renaud Capuçon. From this union was born a boy, Elliott, on November 8, 2010. The musician had met the journalist in 2008 during a dinner in Savoie. “The story is that we met at Michel Barnier, who was Minister of Agriculture, who had organized a dinner for Savoyards”, he explained in the program C to you.

A love story that took place far from the eyes of the curious while Laurence Ferrari was at the presentation of the television news on the first channel. “When we met, I presented the 8 p.m. news on TF1 and, despite myself, I exposed Renaud to this media madness. For us, it was two violent experiences. A classical artist is not prepared for this maximum exposure, which we experienced as a test”.

Before falling under the spell of the artist, Laurence Ferrar i first married in 1993 a certain Thomas Hugues, journalist and television presenter on TF1, L’Équipe, LCI and France 5. From this marriage two children were born: Baptize and Laëtitia. A union that will end 14 years later.

In the program L’Instant de Luxe on Non Stop People, Thomas Hugues confided in their relationship which was highly publicized. “We had two somewhat different relationships with Laurence in terms of others,” he said and explained: “When we went shopping at the supermarket, I pushed my shopping cart, I didn’t realize. And for Laurence , it was harder to feel people turning around. She had a little more trouble with that than I did.” Is this one of the reasons for their divorce? “Not at all”, according to the journalist.
