Directors Alexia Bürger, Mélanie Demers and Marie-Eve Huot are the three finalists for the fourth edition of the Jovette-Marchessault Prize.

Awarded by the Conseil des arts de Montréal and Théâtre ESPACE GO, this award aims to recognize the contribution of women artists in the Montreal theater community.

In 2022, Alexia Bürger notably directed All Things, by Fanny Britt, while Mélanie Demers is behind the show Cabaret Noir. Working mainly with young audiences, Marie-Eve Huot participated in the Chœur battant project, currently presented at the Maison Théâtre.

The name of the winner will be announced on May 15. A scholarship of $20,000 will be awarded.
