Jean-Pierre Pernaut, the famous presenter of 13 Hours of TF1, was married to Nathalie Marquay, known for having been Miss France 1987. The couple said “yes” to each other on June 23, 2007 in the Billettes church, located in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. A ceremony attended by several television celebrities including Sébastien Cauet, Évelyne Dhéliat, Bernard Montiel and Jean-Luc Reichmann.

How did the journalist meet the pretty brunette? “On December 8, 2001, my life changed. I finally found my prince charming. We meet at the election of Sylvie Tellier,” said Nathalie Marquay in a video clip released on C8. Jean-Pierre Pernaut had also confided in this very special evening during which he had met his soul mate.

“Geneviève had said to me: ‘I’m going to put my ray of sunshine next to you. There was an empty seat between Robert Namias and me and there comes an unpleasant, vulgar girl, who sits with a scarf, I don’t know not what she had, but she was not Miss”, he confided and to continue: “I was angry because say so if this is Geneviève de Fontenay’s ray of sunshine, there is cloudy. And Nathalie arrives saying to the young girl: “Excuse me, it’s my place”. The other one got up and Nathalie sat down and we started laughing about that”.

A beautiful love story that gave rise to the birth of their two children: Lou and Tom.

This June 23, 2023, Nathalie Marquay unveiled new pictures of her union on the occasion of their wedding anniversary. “Incredible my love from up there you managed today to give me 2 beautiful gifts for our wedding anniversary, for my part I can simply tell you that I love you and that you remain and will remain my greatest love. You I miss it,” she wrote.
