By becoming Miss France 2023, it is a dream that Indira Ampiot has accomplished. “I’m really living a daydream.” These were the first words she had spoken after her coronation. This is his dream, but also that of his mother.
Indeed, shortly after obtaining her scarf, the 18-year-old woman confided in the major role that her mother, named Béatrice Téjou, had had in her participation in the competition. The latter also wanted to become a miss.
She had notably participated in Miss Guadeloupe 1998. “She finished first runner-up. She participated in other elections like Miss Caribbean, but was never able to compete in Miss France. She had kept the VHS tapes of the contest, her scarf of course, and then the photo albums […] Being small and having grown up in the middle of all this, I wanted to take part in it. It was a dream of a little girl, I was dazzled and fan of my mother. It’s an atomic bomb, you have to write it!”, She confided.
If she was less tight on her father, Didier Ampiot, the latter did not hide his joy and his pride, when Indira Ampiot was elected Miss France 2023. “My daughter is Missssss FRANNNNCCCCEEEEE!”, had then posted the latter on his Instagram account, as reported Here.
But in his family, there is also a member more famous than the others. This is his uncle, professional footballer Frédéric Téjou. “I remember your birth, the first time I took you in my arms, your cries, your smiles, your tears, your plays, your hugs… In less than a week, you will realize your dream. You were able to color our lives after the departure of grandma. Thank you for everything my Didi.
