Why is this grated ham unfit for consumption? This voluntary recall originates from the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in the product, the causative agent of listeriosis. People who have purchased this batch of charcuterie are invited to destroy it, or return it to the point of sale before Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in order to obtain a refund or an exchange. Above all, do not consume the product, and do not use it in your various culinary preparations.

Have you ever eaten the recalled ham? Be alert to the appearance of symptoms such as fever, headaches or body aches and contact your doctor if in doubt. “Pregnant women as well as immunocompromised people and the elderly should be particularly attentive to these symptoms. Listeriosis is a disease which can be serious and whose incubation period can be up to eight weeks”, recalls the platform.
