(Las Vegas) The Vegas Golden Knights have offered a professional tryout to Quebec forward Maxime Comtois, team general manager Kelly McCrimmon announced Tuesday.

Comtois, who is 24 years old, has spent the last five seasons in the Anaheim Ducks organization.

He scored nine goals and amassed 10 assists in 64 games with the California team last season. The hockey player from Longueuil has 38 goals and 48 assists in 210 career games in the NHL, all with the Ducks.

Comtois was selected in the second round, 50th overall, by the Ducks in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
