But there are others that are equally unknown. Epsom salt is one of them, however, it can be an effective ally for many tasks, whether household or gardening.
Discovered in the 17th century, Epsom salt is a small white powder, visually similar to salt, composed of 99% hydrated magnesium sulphate and, for the remaining 1%, mineral salts. Concretely, it is therefore a mixture of magnesium, sulphide, oxygen and water.
Traditionally, this product is used more for care or in the medical field. However, it also has many properties with regard to cleaning, maintenance or gardening. For example, it is particularly beneficial for the health of plants in the vegetable garden and can even be used as a natural fertilizer.
