Summer vacation is fast approaching. Like every year, planning trips can be a difficult task. Between price, desire and time, finding a balance is not easy and booking your holidays can sometimes be a headache.

According to Liligo for Capital, nearly 60% of French people plan to go on vacation during the summer of 2023. For many destinations far from France, the plane is often the only option. But ticket prices can sometimes be very high and slow down the desire for discovery.

To get the best prices, there are tricks. Thus, it is generally advisable to buy tickets between 70 and 90 days in advance. By taking action early enough, it is then possible to avoid excessive price increases.

More surprisingly, the day of the week during which you choose to book your ticket is also important. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday are usually the days when the most expensive tickets are found, reports Le Parisien.

It is therefore advisable to buy them on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to find advantageous offers. Similarly, it is better to make your purchase between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. because this contrasts with the habits of most consumers.

The choice of the departure date is also important. Discover the ranking of the weeks of the summer holidays where the tickets cost the least* in our slideshow.
