Her fate changed on the evening of December 11, 2021. For seven months, Diane Leyre has been living a real fairy tale after being elected Miss France 2022 in front of her first runner-up, Martiniquaise Floriane Bascou. Succeeding the Normande Amandine Petit, the young Parisian is propelled into the spotlight, crisscrossing France with her crown and her title.

“People recognize us in the street with or without a scarf. That didn’t stop me from continuing to take the metro,” she told us a few days after her coronation. To keep in touch with her fans, Diane Leyre is connected to social networks. “I try to establish a ‘dance’ routine in the morning because that’s what puts me in a good mood and if I can bring that to others too…”. Something to brighten the days of its 553,000 subscribers.

From interview sessions to public appearances, Diane Leyre is invited to all prestigious events and charity galas. Among her memorable memories, the choice is difficult to make for the sublime brunette. “There are so many. The football match against OL for Unicef, for example. The Gala des Bonnes Fées, too. The first TV sets, the parachute jump with the air force”, she confessed to our colleagues at Gala.

From the Cannes and Monaco Festivals to the previews, Miss France 2022 also shines with style and elegance in sublime outfits. Any opportunity is good for Diane Leyre to reveal her best profile in front of the photographers. A fairy tale that she savors without worrying too much about the rest of her reigning year. “Afterwards, obviously we ask ourselves the question, but I’m taking advantage of the present moment, and I have several opportunities so it’s great. This summer, I’m going on vacation, I’m going to take stock of the first six months, and I’m going to start asking myself what I want for the future”, she assured our colleagues last summer.

While waiting to follow her summer adventures on Instagram, Diane Leyre has just celebrated her 26th birthday this Monday, July 10, 2023. On this occasion, the sublime ex-radio columnist announced a nice surprise to her fans: she will defend our colors for the Miss Universe pageant to be held in El Salvador next December.
