On April 19, 2023, the feature film Wild Days directed by David Lanzmann is released in theaters in which the young Alain-Fabien Delon plays the character of Manu. A role that immediately appealed to the son of Alain Delon, as he had confided in an interview with our colleagues from Parisian.

“Above all, I liked the script: the night side, drugs, dealer, it reminded me of dad’s films. The gangster genre, sulphurous film, it spoke to me a little”, he had declared and added: “Except for the projects on TF 1 (“Grand Hôtel” and “I3P”), I had been offered roles that I didn’t necessarily like, but that I did because I didn’t have the luxury of choose.”.

It must be said that for the past few years, the young man of 29 years has been trying to make a name for himself in the cinema. A career that has struggled to take off, as he himself admitted in the rest of his interview “I’ve been doing this job for almost ten years and it’s not really taking off. Maybe it’s a story of age, maybe I have a dirty face… So I prefer to start my own projects rather than screwing up from the inside waiting for someone to knock on my door and offer me a role that will change my life,” he said.

Today, Alain-Fabien Delon is trying to diversify in order to earn a living, like his brother Anthony and his father Alain Delon. “I had a good time with “Grand Hôtel” and there is the intermittence of the show. But in this job, you can touch everything”. In the wake of his interview, he did not hesitate to confide in his relationship with his father and their reconciliation in 2019. “I was 19 years old and I did not know how to challenge my family. The only thing that seemed possible to me at the time, it was revenge. But we’ve been getting along very well for ten years. I was at his house for Easter, he’s in good shape, happy, he’s eating his chocolate…” , he explained.
