Happy birthday Christine Kelly. The famous presenter celebrates her 54th birthday this Thursday, July 13, 2013. A leading face of the media, she is followed by many viewers during the programs she hosts on the news channel, belonging to the Canal group.
Over the course of her career, the journalist of Guadeloupe origin has evolved on different media between the written press and television. Among them, Christine Kelly officiated for Sud-Ouest, France 3 and Chérie FM in the 1990s. Then, from 2000, she became one of the leading news faces for the LCI channel before becoming a member of the Superior Audiovisual Council (CSA) in 2009.
Since then, the journalist and author in her fifties has joined the antenna of CNEWS where she officiates since 2019 in the program Face à l’info. A program followed by millions of viewers in which the journalist reveals herself elegantly on the air. What’s the secret behind the famous on-air journalist’s style? “I can put on a jacket or a simple t-shirt”, she confided in Gala in April 2022.
The opportunity for the famous journalist to reveal the secrets of her styling before being on the air. “At 95%, these are my outfits. I need to be comfortable. That it doesn’t mold me too much! It’s important to feel good in your clothes”, she assures our colleagues. “In my mood at the moment. Sometimes I’m a little overweight so it doesn’t suit me. Sometimes it doesn’t suit me because I’ve lost weight… I don’t like wearing makeup, getting ready for all that. But that’s part of the job.”
