(Los Angeles) American actor Angus Cloud, one of the stars of the hit series Euphoria, died in July at the age of 25 of an “accidental overdose,” a doctor said Thursday forensic scientist.

“Angus Cloud died from a lethal mix of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and benzodiazepine in what is considered an accidental overdose,” a spokesperson for the county forensic pathology department told AFP. Alameda, California.

The Euphoria series offers a dark chronicle of the lives of contemporary American adolescents, for whom drug addiction and sexual violence are part of everyday life.

The production was praised by critics, but also heavily criticized online, accused of glorifying drug use.

The soap opera allowed Angus Cloud to obtain his first role. He was spotted by a distribution executive while walking with friends on the streets of Brooklyn, New York.
