(Toronto) Scotiabank posted net income of $2.21 billion in the third quarter of the current fiscal year, down from $2.6 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Earnings per share also fell over the same period, from $2.09 to $1.72.
As for adjusted net income for the third quarter of 2023, it stood at 2.23 billion, compared to 2.61 billion a year earlier, while adjusted earnings per share fell from $ 2.10 to 1, $73.
Scotiabank’s total revenue increased third quarter over quarter from $7.8 billion to $8.1 billion.
