After hot weather at the end of June, the showers are back for the end of the school year. Indeed, Tuesday, July 4, 2023 promises to be rainy. Which departments will be affected by the bad weather? Check out the full list in our slideshow below.

“This Tuesday, a disturbance a little more active than that of the day before is infiltrating a northwestern half with scattered rains and showers locally taking on a stormy character”, announces Cyrille Duchesne, meteorologist for La Chaîne Météo. Indeed, after beautiful clearings for the day of Monday, July 3, the weather begins to deteriorate and joins the weather forecast for the month of July. Meteorologists were already predicting this return of bad weather for the first week of July. Nevertheless, in the south of France, the conditions seem better.

Météo-France has once again placed 58 departments on yellow storm alert for Tuesday July 4, 2023. Which departments are concerned? Check it out in our slideshow below. If the storms begin to declare themselves from 12 p.m., they will be present on the majority of French territory until 11:30 p.m. Temperatures would then be slightly below normal for the season.

But this is not the case in the south of the country where the temperature will be between 27 and 31°C on the eastern side of this zone. For New Aquitaine and Occitanie, the difference is greater with temperatures between 22 and 31°C.

“Wednesday, the weather will remain unstable over 3/4 of the country with a pattern of showers. The south-east will once again remain clear of precipitation”, concludes Cyrille Duchesne. To find out if your department is affected by thunderstorms this Tuesday, see our slideshow below.
