On June 6, 2023, Likibu, a vacation rental site in France, published its ranking of the 20 most searched French beaches on the Internet. If you are not fond of tourists who swarm en masse on the seaside, the latter will help you know where you do not want to go this summer. But how was the study carried out?
To establish this ranking, the Likibu site took into account the 20 most searched beaches over the last twelve months. These requests on the Internet are therefore between June 2022 and June 2023. All French beaches have taken part in this survey to ensure you a result as close as possible to reality. The study was then carried out between May 30 and June 2, 2023.
“The data correspond to the number of average monthly searches on Google over the last 12 months for the various queries including the name of the beach”, specifies Aurélien Jemma, co-founder of the Likibu site. But some had the same name. In this case, the one that was retained corresponded to the one associated with the name of the seaside resort. And unsurprisingly, many of the beaches in the ranking are located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region or on the Atlantic coast.
